As a Partybox 100 owner, I obviously had to go and see the differences with the Partybox 110. The Partybox 110 is a somewhat more refined version of the Partybox 100, when it comes to the appearance. The 110, for example, has 2 turning wheels at the top with which the light show and the volume can be adjusted. This works smoother and faster than with the push buttons found on its predecessor. The light show now has 5 positions instead of 3 (and off) and the stroboscopes are now located outside the speaker grill, making them brighter and creating more atmosphere. In addition, the 110 is IPX4 certified, which means that it can withstand a splash of water. This is made possible by the closing cap over the connections, which are located on the back of the speaker. If it starts to rain during your party, you have a little more time to ensure that the speaker can be safely placed in a dry place. Very nice with the changeable weather in the Netherlands.
The bass is nice and full and the sound is a bit more open due to the more refined highs. The sound also comes into its own better, because the speaker is positioned more obliquely upwards. These speakers are usually placed on the floor. However, it is possible to place both the 110 and the 100 on a tripod. However... here I stumble over the design of the 110, because it is angled upwards. So if it were placed on a tripod, it would send the sound more upwards, over the listener, so that this will influence the sound. This is just nitpicking, but I'd rather mention it.
But the final question is.... Is the Partybox 110 better than its predecessor; The Partybox 100. The answer; Yes and no. Both speakers have their advantages and disadvantages and in some situations one performs better than the other. I have listed all the pros and cons for you below:

- Facing straight ahead when on the ground
- A little less clear in the treble, but still very good
- Not operable with the JBL Partybox app
- No TWS (Can be coupled with 1 other PB100, but becomes 2x mono)
- Less extensive light show
If you are a basshead, then choose the new Partybox 110. It has more bass on board and provides a slightly fuller sound. Unfortunately, this is at the expense of some midtones, so that vocals are less audible than with its predecessor.
If you listen more diversely, I personally think the Partybox 100 is the better choice. It has a better punch in the deep bass, so it still hits what you need, while giving the sound a little more room for the mids, allowing more elements to be heard. Slightly less refined highs compared to the 110, so that it sounds slightly less open, but this difference is not very large.
Hopefully this will help you make the right choice, provided the 100 is still for sale somewhere.
The Partybox 110 gets 4 stars from me, because it is a somewhat less all-rounder than the 100, but it is still a Partybox and the speaker meets that perfectly. I absolutely recommend him.
