The Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L is a telephoto zoom lens that's suitable for single-lens reflex cameras with an APS-C and full frame sensor. With this lens, you can take action photos during a sports event or of animals. The large maximum aperture of f/2.8 remains the same over the entire zoom range. This ensures your photos are brightly lit at any focal length. The image stabilization reduces vibrations, which allows for longer handheld shooting.
What a fantastic lens. I had to think for a while before buying the lens. It is a serious investment. But if you have the lens in your possession for a day, you will immediately forget that. A pleasure to work with. Razor sharp photos, super fast silent motor and beautiful depth of field in the photos. I can recommend this lens to any photographer. Canon lives up to its name of being among the best. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this.

First of all, a word about Coolblue's service: ordered in the afternoon at a fairly competitive price (at the time), and received it less than 24 hours later and testing could begin.
I worked for almost ten years with the first version of the 70-200 f2.8 which is itself a top lens. But this 2nd version does even better. In combination with the new 1D MKIV, this is a beautiful lens. Super sharp, perfect IS and also very fast in focusing. The lens also does its job in dark light conditions, where my old 70-200 still wanted to refuse service.

I switched from the old one to the new 70-200 IS USM II. This with great pleasure, beautiful contrast and great sharpness. The stabilizer has been improved so that hand-held photography can still be taken with less light. All in all a lovely top quality lens,
