With 24 PoE ports you can come a long way. All injectors could go into the bin ;-)

Meanwhile, on to the third generation of Ubiquity products. Since the switch to Unifi 3 years ago I am very satisfied with the stability and performance. The transition from USG-Pro + 16 port switch to the UDM Pro and this Pro 24-POE went smoothly. I had prepared for the worst based on some configuration hassles in the past. But this migration went smoothly in the end. The speed, silence, lower heat production and PoE++ (for the cameras) are more than worth the upgrade. I have the complete set in the meter cupboard and the difference in sound production is enormous. This switch is really whisper quiet.

According to our network switch expert
For the most demanding devices: with PoE++, you can power the most demanding devices via Power over Ethernet.
Many wired connections: you can connect 47 devices to the internet with a wired connection thanks to the Ethernet ports.
Lower energy consumption: because a switch with 1 Gigabit Ethernet works at lower speeds, it uses less energy than switches with more Mbps.
Less fast with large files: when you work with large files, the Ethernet speed can slow down.
