With 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, you and your housemates always have fast internet.
You shouldn’t connect heavy devices to a PoE+ switch, because they need too much power.
In a large business environment with many devices, the connection can sometimes lag.

Description

With the Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise 8 PoE, you can provide your devices with both power and internet through a single cable. This switch delivers up to 30W per port with PoE+. You can use it to connect an IP camera or a WiFi 6 access point, for example. With 8 Ethernet ports, you can wire 7 devices and connect the switch to your modem or router. This gives your devices a more stable internet connection than WiFi. The Ethernet speed of 2,500Mbps is more than enough for several devices at the same time. You can make video calls without interruptions while someone else is gaming online. Thanks to IGMP snooping, the switch only sends data streams to the right ports, so your network stays fast.
