Tefal Giant Plancha

Nice solid design and stable plate to prepare dishes.

Fine plate grease drains well if the plate is level, otherwise it can be wiped away with a cloth

We used it for the first time at Christmas as a replacement for our old raclette grill. I'd read that the grill shuts off when it reaches the desired temperature, and it does. The meat is sizzling nicely, and then everything stops, leaving you waiting for it to come back on. It takes some getting used to compared to the old raclette grill, which only has one setting. Although I'd prefer smoother temperature control instead of constant heat and cold, we're happy with the grill. It's easy to clean, and its size makes it more suitable for a larger group around the table.
