With the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 I bring the heart of my home cinema into the house. The soundbar has Dolby Atmos, so I can experience films and series intensely. The only thing that disappoints me is that I don't adjust the sound settings via the remote control, but only via the app.
Easy to connect and operate
Connecting this soundbar is done within a few minutes. I connect the soundbar to the mains power via the power cable and connect the bar to my TV with the included HDMI cable. The soundbar is then ready for use. To further install the soundbar, I need the Bose Music app.
Bose Music App
To set up the soundbar's equalizer, I download the Bose Music App. Within a few minutes the soundbar is connected to the app and I can get started. I adjust the settings of the center channel, height channel, and the treble and bass settings separately. This allows me to fully adjust the soundbar to my wishes. What I find a pity is that I do not adjust these settings directly via the remote control of the soundbar.
Right in the middle of the action of movies and series
The Bose 900 soundbar has Dolby Atmos, the virtual application of surround sound. This technology surprised me positively. The sound seems to come from all sides, while there is only a soundbar in front of the TV. I clearly notice that the soundbar has speakers directed upwards, which reflect the sound through the ceiling to my listening position.
Detailed sound
The second point that really surprised me with this soundbar is how detailed the sound sounds. Even at a high volume, the sound is full and balanced. I play different genres to see if I hear a difference. With both classical music and metal I hear just as much detail in the songs.
