Without a subwoofer it is a bit disappointing

Nice solid product from Sony. Easy to connect. Comes out with good sound. But not significantly better than my old soundbar with separate subwoofer. I really miss such a subwoofer with the Sony A3000. You can add those, as well as separate rear speakers. But all together it is very pricey.

I recently moved and my 10 year old home cinema set no longer delivered the quality I used to. Everything sounded very hollow and if someone was talking without subtitles I sometimes couldn't even understand it for that reason. What a relief the A3000 is! I now only have one soundbar (so takes up less space than my previous one) and the sound really is 100 times better. Nice bass and crystal clear sound. I'll continue testing. Before I connected the system, I considered purchasing two more separate speakers for behind the couch, but now I'm starting to have doubts because that one soundbar already produces a nice sound. The supplied ACR HDMI cable did not work for me, so I connected the sound via another cable.
