Denver MIR-270B Black

The sound quality is good for the price. The radio has a nice design and is solidly and sturdily built. The many playback options are a plus. Two major drawbacks are that the time display can't be turned off when the radio is in standby mode. This is prominently displayed and can't be dimmed. The only way to fix this is to unplug the power cord. The time is also frequently incorrect. Even though the radio is connected to the internet, the clock sometimes spontaneously loses 10 or 15 minutes until you turn it back on. Apparently, when the radio is in standby mode, it can't keep time properly. The menu is also illogical, and because there's no manual included, you're left fiddling around. The device looks nice, but the software is a disaster.

Very nice radio. I'm really happy with it. Beautiful design.

As always, Coolblue shipped quickly. Service is always excellent. Plus points as described. I gave the sound quality 3 stars because I immediately connected the device to external (Edifer) speakers. So I can't comment on the built-in speakers. The sound on external speakers is incredibly good. The device had even more options than I expected: sleep music and podcasts (via Wi-Fi). Setting up Wi-Fi wasn't easy, but that might be because I was quite far from the router. Once set up, it was no problem. Changing channels is also a chore that requires some patience. It's a shame there's no app included. However, for the price (good value for money), it's not a problem. Once everything is set up, it's enjoyable, also thanks to the easy-to-use remote control.
