If you want to use the full version of Serato, you have to buy a subscription.

The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is a professional DJ controller that's easy to use. This makes this 2-channel controller suitable for advanced DJs and starting DJs who want to get serious. Connect it to your smartphone, tablet, or laptop and use the DJ software Rekordbox and Serato lite for free. The internal effects let you put your own spin on your new set. Connect a microphone via the USB port if you want to talk over the music.

Build quality is just okay

It is an excellent controller with clear software. The only confusion with version 6 of Rekordbox is that no slider needs to be set, so it says FREE Plan. But after speaking to support, that's how it should be. Rekordbox therefore works with the functions that come with the controller. So don't expect a license key in the box. Register your product and create an account. Press Plan and everything works. Furthermore, Rekordbox is more user-friendly than Traktor, for example.

The standard stuff: check. Compatibility with Serato and Rekordbox: check. Features and Effects: Lots of checking. You get a lot of value for little money. Wonderful solution for novice DJs. Please note; You still need a laptop/Ipad etc with Rekordbox or the like.
