Description
The Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5898/35 automatically adjusts the shaving intensity to the density of your beard. The electric shaver measures your beard during shaving. You also receive a useful charging dock. You place the shaver on it, so you always have enough battery when you use it. The flexible head follows the shapes of your face. As a result, you always have a smooth shaving performance. You can shave dry and wet with this electric shaver. It's fully waterproof, so you can also shave in the shower. There's a fold-out trimmer on the back. With this, you can trim your mustache or sideburns. Remove hairs with the brush or rinse the head under the faucet after use. You can take the electric shaver with you in the travel pouch.

Just simple and effective. I see no reason to choose an expensive variant. I had the top model before this. Doesn't shave better, and you pay your blue to the shaving foils.

It is a very nice shaver. The quality radiates from it. You can also take it apart completely to clean it properly. The battery lasts quite a long time, but unfortunately it is not usable when you are charging it. I find that quite annoying. It happened once that I was not ready and that it was empty. It is very nice that you can use it in the shower. But now the disappointing part. I am not someone who shaves every day. I also have a fairly coarse beard. It therefore takes a really long time before I finish. I have to go over the same spot very often to get a good shave. So grabbing a normal razor is a lot faster. I find that very unfortunate.
