TomTom GO Expert Plus 7 Premium Pack World

We are not used to this from TomTom. We have been using TomToms for years and have always been satisfied. But this new TomTom is really not what we expected. We thought that the route information would be increasingly improved and more up to date, but nothing could be further from the truth. Toll roads are indicated that do not exist at all, main roads where you are suddenly no longer allowed to drive as a truck. The route information for the truck is really bad. Definitely not recommended for the truck driver.

The system works well, takes some getting used to if you have used a 6250 for years, although you get used to it very quickly. The disadvantage is that the local time is not indicated on the screen, this is the case on the 6250. The 7" screen is very pleasant to look at. Connecting the phone to Bluetooth took some time to figure out, but that was also successful.

I gave the TomTom as a gift because I got my large driving license for the bus, I thought I would take the most expensive and the largest version 7" inch because I travel with large vehicles

I have had several TomToms in the past, but this one is the worst I have had, the TomTom finally freezes by default when you press it out of sleep mode, so you cannot avoid restarting, during the ride it often has its GPS signal. causing it to spin around on the screen,

It also often loses the connection with Mydrive, so you no longer receive file and flash information

I returned the TomTom after less than 2 weeks under warranty because it now has no GPS signal at all, several factory resets did not get anything out of it anymore, the GPS is gone and stayed gone,

You would say that TomTom can finally bring a good navigation system to the market after all these years, and certainly for the money of 400 euros.

Fortunately, Coolblue has top service and they took the device back without any hassle, and I got my money back.

I have now received a cheaper old version of TomTom Go620 Professional from my employer, which works much better,
