Thanks to the small size, this NAS easily fits on a small desk. The DS124 was developed for small companies, so you can share files on a small and local server more easily. Do you work with a Windows laptop while your colleagues work with a MacBook? No problem. The NAS is ready for use for Windows, Mac / iOS, Linux, Chromebook, and Android. That means you can get started right away. Thanks to the 1GB RAM and Quad-Core RealTek processor, you can process all tasks without delays and multitask with an entire small company on the same NAS at the same time. Just like with all Synology NAS models, you can also use Synology Drive Server with the DS124. This allows you to edit the storage space of the NAS from every connected device. That's useful if you're working from home and still want access to your files.
