You can make coffee from freshly ground coffee beans with the built-in coffee grinder.
With a dual heating system, you can make a cappuccino with the right coffee and milk temperature fast.
The built-in manometer shows you how much pressure you use to make an espresso, so you can adjust your preparation to this.
Without a display, the machine doesn't guide you through a menu with options while making coffee.
The SMEG EGF03RDEU Red has a built-in coffee grinder, so you can grind your own coffee beans. In addition to the built-in coffee grinder, you also receive a tamper and milk pitcher. That way, you get a piston machine that allows you to get started right away. The only thing you're missing, are the coffee beans. The dual heating system heats up the coffee and milk separately. That way, you can make an espresso and froth milk for a cappuccino or latte macchiato at the same time. On the built-in manometer, you see exactly with how much pressure you're making your espresso. You can easily adjust your preparation to this. You choose the grind size, temperature, amount, and pre-infusion profile. That way, you can brew an espresso exactly to your liking.
Note: it takes time and patience to learn how to prepare a tasty coffee with a piston machine. This is a lot less easy as with a fully automatic espresso machine.
