It does what it's supposed to do, but you really can't do without this strap and extra battery. No alternative makes it a shame that it is an additional purchase.

After playing with the Quest 3 for a few days I noticed that it does have a tendency to sag. My sister actually supported it continuously with 1 hand.
As a glasses wearer it really has to sit in 1 place otherwise it doesn't focus well and that is exactly what the old strap didn't do and this new one does. I understand that you can also buy prescription lenses but if you just bought it you don't think about that yet.
Coolblue doesn't mention the Ah of the battery which is strange, it should give you 2 hours extra playing time according to Meta. According to Meta website it is: 7.68 V 2330 mAh 17.9 Wh.

According to our headband for VR headsets expert
Thanks to the sturdy materials, the head strap is more durable and lasts longer.
You can adjust the headband to your liking with the dial, so that it fits perfectly.
Because this head strap is more comfortable than the original headband, you can wear the Quest 3 without any problems
This head strap doesn't have a built-in battery for the Meta Quest 3 and 3S, so the VR headset doesn't have an extended battery life.
You can only use this Elite Strap with the Quest 3 and 3S.
