On that point it is a bit disappointing. When the record is finished, the player will continue to turn for at least another ten rounds with the needle against the label. I wonder what that does to the needle. Time will tell. I can be brief about the sound, it already sounds very good with the standard needle. I immediately replaced the element with a better one, the Audio Technica AT-VM95E. The sound gets a boost, becomes more detailed and warmer. To mention another small disadvantage besides the auto-stop. The motor ticks, but you can only hear it if you stand with your ears above the record player.
