Ok, I have a dog and it sheds like crazy. The current vacuum cleaner also has a rolling suction head, but it spins all the hair around the axis and I have to constantly remove it (cut, pick). Because I have a lot of open stairs, I was also done with wired vacuuming. Came out on this Dyson.
I bought the Dyson anyway, I thought it was mainly marketing nonsense. But he impresses on all levels. I am a 35 year old man and I don't think vacuuming sucks anymore - I now vacuum the stars from heaven.
Noise level? Quieter than I thought. My petty thief makes more noise and its suction is not even 10% as good.
Weight - I think it's certainly not too bad and it's not a problem for me. If you are older and/or physically weaker, it may be disappointing. Although I must say that you no longer have to drag an annoying rolling vacuum cleaner behind you.
Battery life: because it sucks hard on eco, it lasts a very long time. The display showing remaining battery life is also useful.
Oh yes, the included turbo carpet brush (no idea what it's called). It cleans my carpet so well that I simply have no words for it.
In other words, I've been sucking with a crappy vacuum cleaner for years or this thing is brilliant. Probably a mix of both
