I've been looking for the perfect headphones for a while. I have read many reviews of various A brands, because my previous headsets were not adequate in terms of sound quality, were no longer comfortable after an hour and caused pressure on the ears and/or on the head, or the microphone that emits all sounds. gave space to the opponent.
These Sony Inzone H5 headphones are comfortable. Even when you have it on for several hours. The pads fit well around the ears and feel pleasant. The pads do not cause unpleasant pressure on the ears or head. They are adjustable in height. It does not have active noise cancellation, but I really have to turn the headphones down or (half) take them off to hear what my housemates are saying to me. Certainly sufficient for me, because I don't want to be completely cut off from the outside world. The pads have a breathable fabric, which does not feel sweaty on hot days.
The microphone works when it is unfolded and is therefore off when the microphone is collapsed. The noise cancellation is really good. With my previous headset my teammate could hear everything, even the sounds from the kitchen, and with this headset these (read all) sounds disappeared. Even if someone was talking to me who was standing a meter away, the teammate could not hear it. This is really better than expected.
From the many reviews I've read about headsets, there's usually some point they can't deliver on. The quality of sound, microphone or comfort, but in my opinion no concessions have been made with this headset. The microphone has been approved by the teammates, I can hear where my opponent is, the music sounds good and the wearing comfort is very good.
I can't make a good judgment about the battery life yet. I regularly charge it automatically. The option to use it wirelessly and wired is nice and ensures that you will not be faced with any surprises.
Plugging in the USB is super simple. On the USB, place the slider on PC or PS5. Then just plug and play. The headset has the on/off button, volume button, chat volume and game sound, a jack plug input and a USB-C point.
Unfortunately I don't have a PC with Windows 10 to tweak the headset. An app would be more convenient, but fortunately the default settings are as desired.
With my Steelseries pro headset, I can record with the headset when I receive a call, but it also caused unpleasant pressure on my ears and all sounds in the house could be heard by my teammates. You cannot make calls while gaming with this headset, but it excels in terms of wearing comfort and microphone quality.
