According to our carpet cleaner expert
You can choose from 3 different settings, which allows you to control how powerfully the cleaner cleans.
The high 750W power keeps the water at a constant temperature, so you can clean thoroughly every time.
The steam-only setting allows you to dry surfaces faster.
The cleaner is larger than other cleaners in this category, which makes it harder to store.
Device has now been used a number of times. Before cleaning the doormats (synthetic sizes), please vomit the permanent spot of the cats. Result after steam cleaning, the mats are nice and fresh again and ready to be dirty again. Very nice that the stains are no longer visible and the room smells significantly fresher again. Furthermore, the device is used in the bathroom on, among other things, emerging mold spots and water limescale stains, it takes a little more time than normal, but the bathroom looks like new again! What we still have to try is cleaning the curtains, lounge cushions, car mats, still plenty of ideas. Furthermore, it is a very compact and powerful device, but it makes relatively more noise than we expected. Furthermore, the cord is nice and long, so you don't have to mess around in the bathroom. The hose of the device is also long enough to work well in the room. Cleaning the device is a piece of cake. I just haven't figured out yet whether you can leave the clean water with the cleaning agent in the machine and can you also use other products from a different brand than Bissell itself?

The operation is good with enough suction power, with the steam function you must take into account that the hose must first pump out the cooled water (water jet) when cleaning it is better to spray the places with a spray can filled with water and detergent and then brush first before starting with the device because you cannot change whether you clean with or without cleaning agent because of 1 clean water reservoir it is better to suck the soapy water out of the carpet or dust without cleaning agent in the device. So expensive cleaning agent is unnecessary and the result is much better.

I was able to test the BISSELL SpotClean HydroSteam Select and am generally very pleased with the performance of this device. The combination of steam and powerful suction makes removing stains a lot easier, especially on fabric furniture and carpets. I tested it on a sofa, carpet and car upholstery and in all cases the device was able to significantly reduce or even completely remove stubborn stains.
What I really like is the ease of use. The installation was easy and the instructions were clear. The two separate large reservoirs for clean and dirty water are handy and ensure that you do not have to constantly refill or empty. This makes cleaning more efficient. However, it is important to follow the stain guide in the manual so that you use the right cleaning method for different types of stains.
A small downside is that the device is not completely silent during use and that it takes some getting used to using the right amount of water and detergent. But overall I am very satisfied. It is recommended for anyone looking for a compact, powerful stain cleaner!
