Philips 7000 HD9396/90

After pressing the start button, the device starts up properly but stops at about 33 degrees, and has to be started again, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, and it does go straight to 100 degrees.

Device exchanged but the same problem, Philips' answer is to descale, this for a device that is a week old, or have you set the temperature correctly, yes, that's how you solve your problems too....

I had the opportunity to test this Philips 7000 Series Kettle HD9396/90. I must honestly say that I expected more from it. The keep warm function is nice, but it switches off after a while. I also think the build quality is mediocre, I don't expect this from Philips. The lid is a bit 'tinny' and appears cheap, so it does not close completely. If you pour a glass of boiling water too quickly, water sometimes escapes from under the lid. So you have to be extra careful with this to avoid fires. In addition, I have the feeling that the controls do not always work smoothly. Sometimes I touch the touch button and it seems as if it turns on, but unfortunately it turns out not to heat. All in all, I'm glad I was allowed to test it first before I bought it

This black kettle looks very stylish with little fuss. The button to open the kettle is located on the lid and it works easily. Switching on the kettle is on the handle with a touchscreen button that is also easy to operate. The disadvantages of this kettle for me are that the lid does not open very far, making it difficult for me to fill the kettle with my short tap. The capacity is also on the inside of the kettle, which is difficult to see because of the lid, which only partially opens. It's nice that you can read the temperature on the handle. If I weigh the pros and cons, this is not the ideal kettle for me
