Description
With this Tado Smart Thermostat X expansion, you can regulate the temperature in different rooms, via the floor heating for example. You can do this via the app on your smartphone. With the Auto Assist subscription, you can find extra functions in the app that save you energy like geofencing. Or you can make temperature schedules, which saves you energy. A subscription costs € 3.99 per month. This thermostat works with the smart home platform Matter, so you can connect it to other smart devices. Note: this expansion doesn't work with older Tado thermostats.

- wall mounting is really a piece of cake
- app works very intuitively and well and is simple.
- clear, design no bells and whistles, less is more
- geo location works but you have to manually set it to home or away, if you want it automatically you have to pay occupational health and safety, really a minus, this should simply be included in the price, good basic all in

Already experienced with the v1 version and very satisfied. Smart schedules and adjustment based on geolocation and weather are great. Own installation is easy to do and service via email is good and fast.

I am very happy with Tado, although the already simple package with well-functioning functions should be everything for free. Other brands include that. There is no self-learning function, which is nice for me as I like to keep control myself and keep a tight rein on the purse strings. But it would be nice if the option were there as well as a more extensive air quality meter, But the ease of use and installation are a breeze, super happy that I purchased Tado.
