TP-Link Tapo D235 Smart Battery & Wired Doorbell

I was able to test the tapo D235 for a few weeks.

I am very enthusiastic about it.

Comes with any screws and plugs that may be used.

You can choose to connect a wired or rechargeable battery.

Installation is very easy if you download the app and follow it step by step.

You plug the doorbell hub into a power outlet and you can attach the tapo D235 as you see fit. Tap it in or use tape. You can also choose from the supplied mounting plates whether the camera should detect more to the left, right or downwards.

You can choose between local storage via microSD card and/or paid subscription.

It is a pity that you have to insert the microSD card into the doorbell.

Setting up the camera is very easy. The detection area is quite accurate. You can specify multiple zones.

You can also set what you should receive a notification of, for example parcel post or people.

I think the camera displays images well day or night. You can see everything clearly. Surprised me a lot.

The doorbell can also be adjusted in volume, which is perfect for changing shifts, so you don't get called out of bed.

In short, very satisfied with this tapo D235

Great doorbell. Easy to use and convenient.

When someone rings the doorbell, it first has to connect to your smartphone. This takes a while. You also have to unlock your smartphone before you can see anything, and the microphone is always off. So, there's a lot of work to do before you can see anything or speak.

When someone calls and everyone receives a notification, if one person answers, the other smartphones keep ringing. Sometimes you don't get a notification on your smartphone even though someone has rang the doorbell. It's not a great product, and we can't get it working. I've heard from others that other systems work flawlessly, but not this Tapo system.
