Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 Mini Black

After first buying the regular version, I went for the mini version and this mini fits better

I don't like earbuds and headsets because they block the ear canal. Yet, sometimes I need them all day for work, and this is a godsend. You barely feel you're wearing them. As a result, the sound comes through very naturally, as if it's coming from the speakers. Don't expect top-notch sound, but it's fine for conversations or background music. It definitely lasts all day on a single charge. What I do find disappointing is that the standby time isn't long enough for me. If I connect it to my laptop for a video call in the morning, then leave it for a while, and then have another call, I have to reconnect it because it's turned off automatically, which is inconvenient. The stiff band might be nice for sports, but for home, garden, and office use, I would have preferred a more flexible cable.

After my positive experience with the Aftershokz Aeropex, the new Openrun was somewhat disappointing. The Bluetooth pairing is faster than the previous version, and the sound is just as good as the Aeropex's, but different. High notes sound better thanks to the extra treble speakers on the front, but with a lot of ambient noise (outside), the sound is weaker than the Aeropex's. After eight months, the on/off button broke. The battery life was already much lower than it had been. If you want a truly good-sounding bone conduction headphone, go for the (old) Aeropex if you can find them.
