Description

With the Dyson V8 Advanced, you can vacuum more thoroughly than with other models from the V8 series. The stick vacuum has a higher suction power. With the 130 airwatts suction power, you can remove dirt much easier from your floor or from the carpet. The floor attachment has a rotating brush that also lifts up dirt from the carpet. Thanks to the anti-tangle technology, you can prevent the brush from getting stuck on longer hairs. A fully-charged battery lasts up to 40 minutes. This way, you can vacuum an entire floor. Remove the stick from the vacuum and use it as a handheld vacuum. When you're done, you can empty the 0.54:0 dust collector with a click in one go into the trash can.

Handy and quiet but not user-friendly

The vacuum cleaner itself is very handy, quiet and manoeuvrable. It also vacuums reasonably well on the soft setting. The biggest drawbacks for me were that you have to press the button all the time to vacuum. Also the bin clicks loose at the bottom to empty, very handy but you have to do this above the bin and preferably while lifting it to stand nicely vertically. I don't find it that easy.

Now that we have a child we have to vacuum every day and this is so much faster than taking a normal vacuum cleaner. Plus that hassle with a cord etc. For small crumbs normal mode is fine but for a lot of mess I would still use max. The dustbuster is also easy, you can order extra attachments (also b-brand) Unfortunately I don't find it handy for under the bed and if you really have to vacuum a lot and for a long time I wouldn't get rid of your old normal vacuum cleaner. But still definitely no regrets about the purchase!
