AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
9800X3D
Upgraded because my previous AM4 board was acting up. It's only a 2 generation difference after all. For me as a casual gamer, I could have easily continued with my old one, but this was the logical next step. The big difference between an X3D and a regular one is the stability of the framerate. Frame drops are completely a thing of the past. I also play kingdoms reborn now and then. With a civilization of 1000 men, the game stuttered (up to 1fps), despite the fact that no core maximum was used. Now I could go up to 2800 and still playable (drops to 40fps). Ryzen has really matured with this.
