Miele Guard L1 Comfort Titanium

We bought a Dyson for the hard floors downstairs to easily vacuum the house cordlessly. The built-in laser light revealed that a lot of fine dust remained after vacuuming with a regular vacuum. This Miele vacuums incredibly thoroughly, and the Dyson doesn't find any fine dust afterward.

The sound of any vacuum cleaner is always annoying, but this new Miele certainly doesn't stress the cat out. She stays asleep when the vacuum is pulled out. Previously, she would quickly fly upstairs or outside.

We use this vacuum twice a week to intensively clean the floor ~ much faster than the Dyson ~ and prevent dust from being blown throughout the house. For quick, more superficial cleaning, the Dyson is a godsend. A cordless, maneuverable appliance is a real boon in your home. The problem is that more difficult tasks—like Christmas needles—are a stumbling block for a Dyson, and the narrow nozzle requires a lot of back-and-forth motion.

Cleaning larger surfaces is challenging. A Dyson also falls short for vacuuming rugs, etc.

I was able to get my whole house done quickly and, thanks to the long cord, I didn't have to change outlets very often.

Beautiful model and very nice, subtle color scheme. Good quality and well-thought-out design. Incredible suction power!
