I believe the machine works perfectly if you use the designs and features, such as text, from the Cricut environment. However, if you want to be more creative and use designs from familiar design programs, it's a complete disaster. Designs from Inkscape are completely misinterpreted, and even if you have all the lines corrected after a lot of fiddling, it still cuts what it should have plotted, and vice versa. I believe the fault lies entirely with me as the machine operator, but Cricut doesn't make it easy to use. That's something you might expect for this price...
