The adhesive layer of the mat keeps your material in place while you're cutting it. Place the transparent foil on your cutting mat when you're not using it. That way, dust or other dirt doesn't get onto the mat so it lasts longer. This mat is only suitable for Cricut Explore and Maker machines.
