De'Longhi La Specialista Touch EC9455.M

Switching from a fully automatic coffee maker takes some getting used to. It's not just a simple one-touch coffee brewing experience. But you do get a great barista experience making different coffees. The machine provides good instructions, so it's easy to learn. It looks great on the countertop.

Switching from a fully automatic coffee machine takes some getting used to. No coffee at the touch of a button. But you do get a great barista experience, and a delicious variety of coffees. (The taste also depends on the quality of the beans.) I'm also glad I got to try out the machine. With Bean Adapt, the machine intelligently adjusts the coffee. The storage compartment is a bit pricey; you really don't need it. The LatteArt works well and can be used automatically or manually. It's easy to clean thanks to the auto-rinse function after use. It froths plant-based milk well. This can also be adjusted to your preference. I now make more different coffees than I did with my fully automatic coffee machine. The machine looks great on the countertop. With its attractive display and detailed instructions, it's easy to use. You quickly press the action button instead of the bottom button to adjust settings. Another plus is the cold brew option for warmer days.

I received this product for testing. After three weeks of use, I can recommend it to anyone. I previously had a fully automatic coffee machine and was worried that switching to the La Specialista would be (too) complicated, but those concerns were unfounded. Making coffee isn't difficult, but it does take a bit longer because there are more steps. While that's a bit trickier in large batches, the taste more than makes up for it. I find the coffee made with the same beans is substantially better than with my previous machine. The touchscreen instructions are clear, making it almost impossible to go wrong. The machine is attractive and compact, and I expect it will fit into any kitchen. The price-quality ratio is also excellent, and I would recommend this product to anyone.
