The ETNA VW938CP built-in dishwasher runs quietly, which I appreciate. The FanDry function also ensures that my plastic containers come out of the dishwasher dry. The Speed Wash program is also really handy when I need a clean load quickly. However, the average eco program takes a bit longer, so I prefer to wash faster rather than more efficiently.
First Impression
The built-in dishwasher feels sturdy. It's spacious inside, with room for 16 place settings. I place my cutlery in the handy cutlery drawer. I also slide it aside a bit on the side, creating space for wine glasses in the basket below. There's a special bottle holder for my own water bottle. I set the intensive zones myself at the bottom of the dishwasher. These have two special spray nozzles that I can adjust to the desired setting for extra powerful or wide spray. Also handy: I can control the dishwasher remotely via the ConnectLife app. This way, I can turn it on while I'm at work and the sun is shining. Combined with my solar panels, I'm saving on my energy costs.
Energy-efficient with energy rating A-10%
Thanks to its A-10% energy rating, this dishwasher saves me money on my energy costs. It washes 10% more efficiently than an A-rated model. I was most efficient with the eco program, which takes 4 hours and 40 minutes. The dishwasher takes a little longer this way, but it washes much more efficiently. I can also shorten the program if I need the dishes done sooner, but it's less efficient then.
Plastic containers completely dry
What strikes me most is how well this dishwasher dries. Thanks to the FanDry ventilation drying technology, almost everything comes out dry. Even the plastic containers from my lunch are completely dry. At the end of the cycle, the door automatically opens slightly. This allows my dishes to dry faster, saving me time and energy. I can also easily turn this function off.
Fast and quiet
I always use the Speed Wash program after dinner with family or friends. Everything is clean within an hour, even caked-on oven dishes. Convenient, because it quickly gets a full dishwasher clean and dry. However, the dishwasher uses more energy this way. I often work from home, and in the evenings I like to watch a movie or read a book. I prefer not to have the dishwasher running at full volume. With a noise level of 38 decibels, the dishwasher is already very quiet. If you really want to minimize noise, I turn on the Night program. At 36 decibels, it's completely silent.
