Brother DCP-T580DW
Black

No extra ink
The printer itself prints OK, but compared to an Epson, the speed is definitely below par. The display and menu structure are far from user-friendly. Occasionally, it won't work, which is not recommended for those with patience.

Because of the limited number of reviews, I took a chance on this Brother printer after hearing many good things about the brand. The printer feels solid and prints quickly and affordably thanks to the ink tank. The installation process froze a few times, but it's otherwise easy to follow. The app is simple and fast. I can easily print and scan from my mobile, something that often crashed with apps from other brands. The only drawback is that the app supports a maximum scanning speed of 300 dpi. On a PC, it's the indicated 1200 dpi.
The ink tank doesn't have a safety system to prevent you from adding the wrong color ink. Therefore, you have to be extra careful when refilling.
For general home use, this is the perfect printer: fast, affordable, and reliable.
After trying other brands, I'm glad I now have a Brother.

The specifications state that the printer has both a wireless and a wired connection. The latter was one of the reasons I purchased the printer and connected it to my network. However, after unpacking the printer, I discovered that "wired" didn't refer to a UTP connection, but to a USB connection.
