The Shokz Open Dots One earbuds fit securely in my ears, yet I barely feel them. I find it convenient that I only pause the music when I'm chatting and don't remove the earbuds. The earbud controls are more difficult to use with glasses.

Sturdy Design I find the open design fits securely around my ears. Even when I'm walking at a brisk pace, they stay in place. Despite their secure fit, they feel comfortable all day long. The earbud material feels solid. This gives me the feeling that I don't have to handle them gently and that they'll last a long time.

Lively Sound The earbuds deliver clear stereo sound, allowing me to clearly hear the different layers of sound. This adds depth to the sound, making it sound more realistic. With music featuring multiple vocals, I can clearly hear the different vocal parts. When I listen to podcasts, I find the sound full and I understand voices well. With Dolby Audio, the sound seems a bit further away, as if the music is playing in a room. I find the sound clear and I hear more layers. I'm not a fan of this, but I definitely recommend it if you do enjoy that spatial effect. With energetic songs with a strong beat, I miss a bit of punch, which makes them sound less powerful. With the Boosted Bass setting, I can hear the bass a bit more clearly.

Ambient Noise The earbuds don't have noise canceling, but the full sound keeps ambient noise from distracting me. I find it convenient that I don't take the earbuds out and only pause the music when someone speaks to me.

Convenient Controls I control my music with the earbuds. I like this because I don't have to grab my phone all the time. This way, I don't get distracted by notifications. I set which action triggers which in the app. When I wear my glasses, I find the controls on the earbuds less convenient because they're difficult to reach.

The earbuds are exceptionally light, and I barely notice I'm wearing them when I'm doing anything else. As a bass lover, these aren't great; there's not a huge amount of bass. Nothing too shocking, but if you crave more bass, I think you'll want in-ear or over-ear headphones. The lack of bass is made up for by the excellent sound quality. Battery life is excellent; I haven't worn them for more than 2.5 hours at about 75% volume, but after that, they still had 70% battery left in the earbuds themselves.
