KENWOOD CR-M70DAB-B

I bought this radio for my 75-year-old uncle. He's thrilled with it. It's easy to use with large buttons. His favorite stations (up to 30) are easy to access. I put his favorite music on a USB stick, and it's easy to play that too, even on shuffle. The two adjustable alarms work even during power outages. The ASA emergency alerts also work on the battery, which is great. Besides being a great radio he can take anywhere, even without a power source, it's also a perfect emergency radio.

The rechargeable battery drains very quickly, even when it's not turned on. I would have preferred a radio with both regular batteries and a rechargeable one. I suspect the saleswoman misunderstood me on this point. Therefore, I'd like to exchange it for a radio with a rechargeable battery and regular batteries.

With the antenna fully extended, placed against a window, the DAB+ reception keeps dropping out. After connecting another antenna wire and hanging it in the curtains, it now works (almost) always. But that's not why we bought a new DAB radio. The radio owes its 4 stars solely to its design. That's true.
