Nintendo Switch 2 (2026) + Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 + BlueBuilt Protective Case

I weighed the pros and cons for a long time. I looked at alternatives like the Steam Deck 2 or the Asus ROG Ally. However, those prices were too high for me personally. And so I ended up with the Nintendo Switch 2. Looking back, I am really very happy with it! The device offers fantastic performance for a much better price.

Along with the console, I bought the game No Man's Sky. This game turned out absolutely stunning on the Switch 2; the graphics and smooth gameplay really surprised me positively. The game does have quite a learning curve at the beginning, but it is more than worth the effort. Once you figure out how everything works, you won't stop playing.

Additionally, I purchased the games Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 thanks to a nice bundle discount. These are incredibly fun games. Sometimes the concept might be a little childish, but in terms of gameplay and pure entertainment, it is really great fun. Here too, the graphics are really excellent, both in docked and handheld mode. That very choice between handheld or docked play is the absolute Unique Selling Point (USP) of the Nintendo Switch. With this, Nintendo really manages to distinguish itself very strongly from the PlayStation 5 (which I also own) and the Xbox.

As a final test, I tried Hogwarts Legacy. This game also performs very well on the Switch 2. It manages to hold its own surprisingly well against the PS5 version. Of course, the PS5 version looks just a bit sharper thanks to the more powerful hardware, but the Switch 2 version is truly incredibly well optimized.

In short: the Nintendo Switch 2 is highly recommended for anyone seeking top quality and unprecedented flexibility without paying top dollar!
