Anker eufyCam S4 Duo Pack

Thanks to this EufyCam S4, I have an overview of an entire room at a glance. With the dual lens, I don't miss a single event, but to watch live, I do need a strong Wi-Fi connection on my phone and the camera.

Dual camera What immediately stands out to me about this EufyCam is that it consists of two cameras. One is fixed, and the other has a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) lens that can rotate completely. When motion is detected, the PTZ lens automatically rotates accordingly. The fixed camera has a wide viewing angle and maintains an overview of the entire room. Using the app, I can see both images simultaneously on one screen. I can also use the app to adjust the PTZ camera's position. For example, it can only pan to a certain point, so it doesn't film the neighbor's garden. The image quality is sharp, and I see plenty of detail, even when the camera zooms in. However, I do notice that the image sometimes stutters if I don't have a very strong internet connection on my smartphone. My battery also drains quite quickly when I watch live for extended periods.

Smart Tracking and Recognition Thanks to smart tracking, the two cameras work together. When the fixed camera detects movement, the PTZ camera automatically follows it and zooms in on who or what is in view. If someone else enters the fixed camera's view, it zooms out again. Some smart features, such as facial recognition and automatic switching between cameras, don't work without HomeBase 3.

Larger Solar Panel The camera is battery-powered, which I charge with solar energy thanks to the included solar panel. Unlike other EufyCams, the S4's solar panel is separate. I mount it on top of the camera. If you're mounting the camera under a canopy, you can place the solar panel on the canopy. This way, the sun isn't blocked. The panel is larger than the built-in solar panels on the EufyCam 3 and S3 Pro. This means the battery charges faster.

Clear instructions and the rest goes almost automatically

Disappointing, battery drains too quickly.

In bad weather, condensation forms too quickly on the fixed lens, resulting in a blurred image. The solar panel cannot keep the battery charged on dark days; it runs out within 4 weeks. I'm less satisfied than S 340
