Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Creator Bundle

The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 excels in its razor-sharp images and unique design. I find the camera very useful for vlogs because of the fold-out screen. The camera is a bit larger than most other action cameras.

High image quality I film with the Ace Pro 2 in a maximum of 8K resolution with 30 frames per second. The camera crops the image a little bit. The images are impressively sharp, but I mainly use this resolution if I want to crop away more of the image afterwards. For social media images, I prefer to film in 4K resolution. I find the images that the camera films in this resolution sharp enough and very clear, even in a dark room. In dark situations I see a little bit of noise, but this is not disturbing. A big advantage of the Ace Pro 2 is the realistic colors. Without post-processing, the colors are vivid, so I immediately post the images on social media.

Clear sound There is a built-in microphone on the front of the Ace Pro 2. I think the sound that this microphone records is very good. My voice sounds clear and I hear little noise in the background. This sound is good enough for vlogs. I no longer need a separate microphone, which I find useful when I make a vlog on holiday, for example.

Design The action camera has 2 screens. On the front is a small screen on which I view the settings while filming. Unfortunately, this is not a touchscreen, so I cannot adjust the settings on it. On the back is a large touchscreen on which I watch live while filming. I do adjust the settings on this. The user-friendly menu makes this easy and quick. When I film myself, I fold the screen forward. It then works as a selfie screen. I like having a large screen while vlogging. On it I can clearly see what I am filming. The Ace Pro 2 looks like most action cameras, but it is slightly larger. I still take it with me without any problems and it fits firmly in the hand. I prefer to use a selfie stick while vlogging.

User-friendly app I use the Insta360 app to view my images and edit videos. It is very user-friendly. I notice that I use the app often because of this. This way I can quickly put videos on social media without needing my laptop. This is especially useful on holiday.

I already had the Insta360 X5 and was very impressed with the image quality, so the Ace Pro 2 was the logical choice as a replacement for my GoPro 7.

After years with another brand, I tried this one for the first time. My first impression was less than ideal regarding battery life during an indoor shot, but after that I took action shots outdoors and it performed brilliantly compared to my old camera.
