Description

The Garmin eTrex SE is a simple hiking navigation system that you can reach your desitination with. You can see which way to go on the small, bright 2.2-inch black-white screen. You can add the route yourself, so there aren't any pre-installed maps on it. With the buttons on the side, you can control this device. The eTrex SE is sturdy and water-resistant, so you can feel free to take it with you. The device runs on 2 AA batteries and lasts for at least 168 hours and up to 1800 hours. That means you can use it on long hikes without any problems. You can't see details of your route directly on this device, but you can see them in the Garmin Explore app on your smartphone. Your route is less accurate because this system doesn't have multi-band GPS. The Garmin eTrex Touch and eTrex Solar do have that.
