We are very satisfied with this dishwasher. The AEG GI8230X2TO feels solid and delivers good washing and drying results, even when fully loaded.

The dishes come out clean and dry, including pots and glasses. The flexible layout makes loading easy and practical. Additionally, the dishwasher is very quiet, which is nice in an open kitchen. The controls are clear and logical, without unnecessary fuss.

Overall, a reliable and convenient dishwasher that does what you expect of it.

I have been using the machine for a week now and am very satisfied with it overall. The installation was a bit difficult, as only diagrams are used to clarify things. In practice, this sometimes raises questions. The first time, I thought it was a good idea to use the ECO program. It takes about 5 hours, which I find bizarrely long (but of course, this doesn't matter at night). However, the washing result was very disappointing; there was still a lot of dirt on the dishes. After that, I switched to the AUTO program and then the dishes came out properly clean. The drying could possibly be better, as water remained on some cups. But it is certainly an improvement compared to my old machine (Siemens).

I decided to replace my (approximately 15-year-old) Indesit dishwasher. I am a single-person household, which means the dishwasher does not run daily. On the eco setting of my old dishwasher, my dishes came out clean. However, after running this dishwasher for 7 hours (2 programs), my dishes were still not clean. I can easily get used to the cutlery drawer and have kept my old cutlery basket, which you can also use if desired. The door naturally stays open further, which I find annoying in the kitchen. With the door closed, mold forms. The time display on the floor is nice. The instruction manual in Dutch is poorly translated and often unclear. It is incredibly quiet, and the door opens after the program finishes at the end. This and other options can be adjusted as desired, which can also be done via the app. The eco setting of my old dishwasher uses just as much energy/water as the 2-hour program of this dishwasher, but it looks like I will have to pre-rinse a lot and the eco program (5 hours) is not suitable for me. In terms of drying results, I notice no difference compared to my old dishwasher. Plastic/glass storage containers, in particular, still contain moisture and need to dry further.
