Medela Freestyle Mini Hands-free Single

After extensive online research, I chose this breast pump. I wanted a hands-free pump with an external motor because I had heard that using an external motor helps maintain milk production better once you return to work. There are few options on the market, and due to the positive reviews of Medela, I mainly compared the Medela Swing, the Medela Freestyle, and the Medela Freestyle Mini. Ultimately, I chose the Freestyle Mini because of the lower price and because it is smaller. This meant sacrificing a bit of battery life, but that is not a problem for me. I also don't have access to the app, but I read that with other Medela pumps, you still have to manually enter information there anyway. I have used the Medela Freestyle Mini three times now. I am very satisfied. After about 15 minutes of use, my breasts are soft and empty. The cups are easy to clean and consist of only three parts. The pump is easy to assemble and connect, and compared to other pumps I have used, I find it quite quiet. The cups stay in place well in my nursing bra, and you don't need to buy a special nursing or pumping bra for it. What I like a little less is that the touchscreen doesn't always respond immediately and that the external motor is still quite large and heavy, even though this is the 'mini version'. But overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and can definitely recommend this breast pump.
