We were looking for a smart doorbell that wouldn't look like a conspicuous plastic block on our facade, and this matte mocha version really complements our brick wall. Setting it up via the smartphone app went very smoothly and essentially without any technical obstacles. In daily use, I am particularly impressed by the speed of the notifications and the voice function. When I am working in the attic and the delivery person is at the door, I can immediately and clearly communicate via my phone that the package can go in the recycling bin. Additionally, the image is very sharp both during the day and in the dark, so you can still see clear details even when zooming in. I find charging the battery a less practical point. Because the battery is fixed inside the device, you have to unclip the entire doorbell with a small pin, meaning you are temporarily unreachable at the front door while charging indoors with the cable.

The Ring doorbell is very pleasant to use: wireless and with a good picture. It is not a subtle bell, as it is quite large. It is handy that you can mount the bell on your door frame with a plate, and when you want to charge it, you only need to remove the bell itself. The battery of this bell lasts longer than I expected. I am satisfied!

What particularly stands out to me positively about this doorbell is the image quality. During the day, the picture is very clear, and I can clearly see who is at the door. I also find it convenient that you can watch live via the app without anyone having to ring the doorbell first. The motion notifications are handy, although I had to figure out at first which settings work best for my front door. Otherwise, you sometimes get notifications for motion that isn't really important. The connection with my phone generally works quickly, and talking via the doorbell is a useful feature if, for example, you are not at home. The design is quite understated and doesn't stand out excessively next to the front door. All in all, I think it is a particularly nice doorbell if you value good image quality and want to be able to easily see what is happening from a distance.
