Philips Senseo Vibe CSA225/90 coffee pod machine Red

The Philips Senseo Vibe is the smallest Senseo I have tested so far. It fits on any kitchen counter and brews 1 or 2 cups within a minute. However, you cannot adjust the temperature of your coffee.

Compact size The size immediately catches my eye. This Senseo takes up half the space of the Senseo Original. At 15 centimeters wide, I can easily slide it between my toaster and kettle. It weighs about 2 kilos, so I can lift it without any effort. That is nice for people with a small kitchen.

Heats up quickly The machine heats up in about 45 seconds. I notice this especially in the morning. I press the button for 1 or 2 cups and the Vibe starts up immediately. Then it brews coffee quickly. This way, my cup is ready within a minute. After brewing, the machine switches itself off.

2 cups at a time I choose how much coffee I brew myself. For 1 cup, I use the pad holder for 1 pad. For 2 cups or 1 large mug, I use the holder for 2 pads. I find this convenient when I drink coffee together or fill a mug.

5 cups before refilling The water reservoir has a capacity of 0.9 liters. With that, I make about 5 cups before refilling the reservoir. I can easily detach the reservoir from the machine. This way, I simply fill it under the tap.

Handy cleaning indicator The machine indicates when I need to descale it. The light on the control panel turns on during coffee brewing. This ensures I don't forget about maintenance. I can easily rinse the drip tray and pad holders under the tap.

The ease of use is great, the coffee is delicious, and it is brewed quickly and silently.
