Moza R5 Pro Racing Wheel

The Moza R5 Pro Racing Wheel is a realistic racing wheel. The material of the wheel, the wheelbase, and the pedals feels good and sturdy. The wheel has realistic vibrations during racing. However, the pedal cables are a bit short. As a result, I don't manage to hide the cables as well.

Easy assembly I easily mount the wheelbase onto the table clamp with the screws and quickly secure the table clamp to my desk. The screws on the table clamp are long enough, so it fits even on a thick desk. Now it is time for the pedals. I easily mount these to the pedal plate. I connect the cables. The wheelbase clearly indicates which cable belongs to which port. However, the cable going from the pedals to the wheelbase could have been a bit longer to give me a little more slack. It is currently a bit short for my setup. Thanks to the table clamp, I can easily use the wheel on my desk. I also use the wheel in my home office this way.

Sturdy material The material of the wheel, the wheelbase, and the pedals feels good. The grip of the steering wheel is comfortable. I really feel like I have a good grip on the wheel, allowing me to race with a lot of control. The pedals are made of steel and sit firmly on the pedal plate. When I press the pedals, I immediately notice enough resistance when applying pressure to the brake. This makes the pedal feel very realistic.

Quick Moza Pit House installation After connecting all the cables, I download the Moza Pit House software. I turn on the wheelbase and immediately hear the buzzing. The steering wheel is automatically calibrated. Then I press the pedals so that they are calibrated as well. With the Moza Pit House, I personalize the steering wheel and pedals. This steering wheel has 22 programmable buttons, so I set it up to my preference. The racing can now begin.

Realistic racing experience It is time for a ride in DiRT Rally 2.0. Thanks to the force feedback, I feel the differences in the road surface. While drifting through corners, I feel the vibrations and resistance in the steering wheel, so I know exactly when the car has grip and when it doesn't. This makes it feel like I am sitting in a real car.

I like it.
