With The Grounds, EA is adding a new social soccer environment to FC 27. In this mode, you can play fast matches 1 vs 1 or with friends in Clubs. You can explore 3 districts that are inspired by soccer culture. You can also build up your character with help from familiar names such as Kylian Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala, and Alex Hunter. Note: you can only play The Grounds on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. This mode isn't available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

EA gives FC 27 more control and a more realistic feel on the field. Players make smarter runs to get open, so attacks flow more smoothly. You can also dribble better through contact with off-balance dribbling. EA has improved corners and passes. That way, you have more control over runs and duels in the penalty area. On defense, the AI does less work for you. As a result, good timing and smart positioning are more important.

In Football Ultimate Team, you can find the new FUT Gallery. There, you can collect and store old and new player items. You can complete sets of clubs, competitions, countries, and FUT campaigns. That way, you can increase your Gallery Level to earn rewards. Career Mode is getting a large update as well. You get a renewed transfer market, more realistic player values, and new ways to negotiate. That way, you can build a smarter selection and get more out of every season.

EA is once again using a lot of licenses and official content. In FC 27, you can play as more than 21,000 players from over 800 clubs and national teams. You also get access to more than 130 stadiums and over 35 leagues, including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Bundesliga, LALIGA EA SPORTS, and several women’s competitions.
