Een workstation pc of laptop gebruik je voor zware grafische taken. Met deze computers of laptops ontwerp je 3D modellen in AutoCAD of bewerk je bedrijfsvideo's. Het verschil tussen workstations en andere laptops of pc's zijn de krachtige processors en videokaarten. Hierdoor draai je verschillende zware programma's zonder problemen. Workstations gebruiken Windows Pro. Zo zijn je bestanden goed beveiligd en maak je op afstand verbinding met andere computers.
