The differences between the eufyCam S3 Pro and eufyCam 3

With the eufyCam S3 Pro, you can even see the smallest details in the dark. That's because it uses 'Max Color Vision', a new technology for eufy IP cameras. Thanks to this technology, you still have a bright image with little light. Thanks to this, you can also see license plates or faces of people at night, for example. Do you want to light the image even more? You can do that with the 4 built-in LED lights of the camera.

With the eufyCam 3, you can also see images in color at night. You do need extra light for this. With little light, you can see that someone walks by, but details are blurry. Colors are also less clear. That's why the camera shines light itself with 2 built-in LED lights. If you do this often, the battery drains faster.

The built-in solar panel of the eufyCam S3 Pro is 50% larger than that of the eufyCam 3. Thanks to this, the battery charges twice as fast. With 1 hour of direct sunlight per day, the battery lasts forever. With the security packs of the eufyCam S3 Pro, you get an extra separate solar panel. You can place this in a sunny spot. This way, the camera receives as much sunlight as possible.

You can fully charge the battery of your eufyCam 3 within 2 hours in direct sunlight. If the camera is placed at a less sunny place, you sometimes have to charge it with a cable. Or choose an extra solar panel that you can connect to the camera. This isn't included and you have to buy it separately.

The eufyCam S3 Pro recognizes movement via a radar. Thanks to this radar, the camera sees exactly how far away something or someone is. It recognizes people, animals, and vehicles up to 12m away. For example, you can set up that you only receive notifications if someone comes within 5m of your house. This way, it won't notify you of movement in the background like a car driving by. The camera also won't notify you of movement in case of rain or an insect flying by.

You can set the notifications according to your wishes. For example, choose if you want notifications of every movement or only from people that come into frame. The camera doesn't see distance, so it doesn't tell you how far something or someone is from the camera.
