Design and screen
Watch 6: sporty design
Both the Watch 6 and the Watch 6 Classic have a screen that's 20% larger than their predecessors. That's because Samsung made the black bezel around the screen smaller. The Watch 6 has a sleeker, sportier design than the Watch 6 Classic. It's smaller as well as lighter than the Classic, and it's made of aluminum. You can control the Watch via the touchscreen or the buttons on the side. On the bright AMOLED screen, you can read all of your data and messages. The Samsung Watch 6 is available in 40 and 44mm and in the colors cream, black, and silver.
Watch 6 Classic: the rotating bezel is back
As the name suggests, the Samsung Watch 6 Classic has a more classic appearance than the Watch 6. It's a bit more similar to an analog watch. You can control the Watch 6 Classic with buttons and the touchscreen, but also with a rotating bezel around the screen. With this, you can easily and smoothly scroll through your apps and messages. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is made of strong stainless steel. At 43 and 47mm, it's larger than the Watch 6. It's available in the colors black and silver.
Battery life
Samsung smartwatches don't have a long battery life. With each generation, the battery life does increase a bit. This 6th generation of smartwatches also has a slightly larger battery than the Galaxy Watch 5. The Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic last about 1 to 2 days on average, depending on how much you use it. Whether you notice this in practice is the question, as the difference is small.
Functions
The Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic perform the same. They both have the new Exynos W930 processor, which makes them 30% faster than their predecessors.
