First impression of the Sony BRAVIA 3
The box of the Sony BRAVIA 3 contains 2 remotes with batteries, the manual, a quick start guide, 2 leg stands, and the power cord. The high build quality f the BRAVIA 3 stands out to me right away. The thin screen has a sleek finish and feels sturdy at the same time. I can attach the leg stands to the bottom of the TV without screws. This way, I quickly set up the TV and didn't need any tools.
Bright 4K screen
The Sony BRAVIA 3 is a 4K LED TV. Thanks to the sharp 4K resolution, I can see every detail of my favorite movies. The TV has Edge-Lit Local Dimming and uses LED lights behind the bezel for vibrant, bright colors. Thanks to the distribution of the LED lights, an edge-lit screen is usually less bright in the middle. I don't notice this with the BRAVIA 3. The entire screen is equally bright.
Convenient Google TV smart platform
On this TV, I can stream movies and series via the Google TV smart platform. The menu is clear and shows the most popular streaming services. For example, apps like Disney+, Prime Video, and Crunchyroll. I can quickly turn on a new series. Above the popular streaming services, I can see a row with series I'm currently watching. This saves me a lot of time. I know where I left off right away and quickly continue watching.
Game remotely with PS Remote Play
I think the BRAVIA 3 is a must-have for gamers. That's because of the PS Remote Play app. Via this app, I can remotely play my games on my PlayStation 5. For example, does your BRAVIA 3 hang in a bedroom, but is your PlayStation 5 in the living room? I can effortlessly continue gaming there. I just need a stable internet connection. The resolution of the screen is a bit lower via the app, but I find the image quality good enough for a nice gaming experience.
