How do you replace Miele TwinDos reservoirs?

Do you get a notification that your Miele TwinDos reservoirs are empty? Do the following:

• Step 1. Turn on the washing machine without starting a cycle
• Step 2. Open the TwinDos compartment at the bottom
• Step 3. Remove the entire tab from the new reservoir
• Step 4. Insert the new reservoir
• Step 5. Close the hatch and set the display

Turn on theh washing machine when you replace both of the TwinDos reservoirs or one of them. It's important that there's no active wash cycle while you do this. Just shortly press the on and off button, this is enough.

Press the hatch at the bottom of your Miele TwinDos washing machine. The compartment will open. Take out the empty detergent reservoir and replace it with a new one.

Before you insert the new reservoir, you should remove the aluminum tab at the top of the new reservoir. Remove the entire protection film. If you don't do this, the TwinDos reservoir might not connect properly. This is likely to cause detergent leaking into the washing machine.

Now that the aluminum tab has been removed from the TwinDos reservoir, you can insert the reservoir in the right spot. Insert UltraPhase 1 detergent on the left, and UltraPhase 2 on the right. Press the reservoirs firmly. You can switch to refill reservoirs too. You can purchase these separately and use them with your own detergent or fabric softener.

When the TwinDos reservoir is placed correctly, you can close the cover. Your Miele washing machine will now ask if you've replaced UltraPhase 1 or 2. Tap 'Yes'. The next question will be whether you used a different detergent. Choose 'Yes' if you switched to refill reservoirs. Isn't this the case, choose 'No'. Your Miele TwinDos bottle is now ready for use.
