An infrared heating radiates heat to a fixed spot in the space. You can use infrared heating near your desk or in the bathroom, for example. An infrared panel on the ceiling or on the wall works well at places where you quickly need heat. Because these heaters don't heat the air, you usually don't use infrared heating as main heating. A more powerful infrared panel like an infrared panel for the bathroom or the ceiling sometimes heats a small room entirely.
