Description

With the JURA J8 Midnight Silver (EA), you can now make your favorite beverage from the coffee bar at home. The Sweet Foam function mixes a syrup with your milk foam to create a sweet latte macchiato at the push of a button. You can choose from 23 coffee specialties, 2 types of milk foam, and 2 types of tea. The machine recognizes what type of cup you've placed under the outlet. This way, it can adjust the selection on the display to show the available specialties. For example, it shows you various espresso recipes for a small cup. Making coffee has never been this easy. You're ensured of a good coffee quality. The coffee grinder monitors the grind size, which ensures an even end result and maximum flavor in every coffee.

Coolblue is an authorized JURA dealer, so you'll get a 25-month warranty on a coffee machine. JURA grants this warranty by repairing or replacing parts of the machine.

Little maintenance and very good sturdiness
If you use the JURA water filter and replace it on time, you don't have to descale anymore. The milk system automatically rinses itself after each brew, and you can choose the cleaning program for a thorough clean. You also won't have to take the brew group out of the machine, but rinse it with the automatic program. Durable materials and parts were used for this fully automatic coffee machine. It's a good choice if you're looking for a coffee machine that lasts you a long time.

Our expert review

A luxury fully automatic machine for the real sweet tooth

It exudes luxury and quality, thanks to its design.
The touchscreen display is very user-friendly.
With the Sweet Foam function you add a syrup to your coffee.
It takes up quite a lot of space.

I think the JURA J8 is a real eye-catcher on my kitchen counter. It stands out because of its luxurious design, but also because of its large size. The machine makes all kinds of different coffee specialties. From black coffees to sweet milk specialities. I explain my opinion in detail.

Luxury design My first impression of the JURA J8 is very positive. For example, there is a really luxurious fully automatic machine in my kitchen. It exudes luxury because of its design, color, touchscreen display, but also because of its generous size. As a result, it takes up quite a lot of space. The operation is very user-friendly thanks to the large touchscreen display. On this, the machine shows all coffee specialties in a row and the choice of specialties is huge.

Sweet Foam Function What I find very unique about this machine is that you also brew a sweet milk specialty. This 'Sweet Foam function' mixes a syrup through the milk foam, resulting in sweetened milk foam. On the display you choose a pre-programmed coffee with an 'S' next to it, which stands for 'Sweet'. I choose a syrup myself, which I then pour into the syrup attachment. I easily click this under the milk spout. And voila, a Sweet Latte! This is truly a cup of coffee for the sweet tooth.

Coffee Eye function What I also find an interesting feature is the 'Coffee Eye'. This way the coffee machine recognizes which coffee I want to make. He adjusts the menu accordingly. What do I mean by this? There are 2 different coffee outlets, one for black coffees only and one for milk specialties. If I put a cup under the coffee spout for black coffees, the machine recognizes this and only shows me black coffees. I find this very clear, because it limits my choice.

Adjust to your favorite taste With dozens of pre-set coffee recipes, I also adapt the coffee specialty to my own taste. For example, the device helps you to adjust the grinding degree per coffee recipe. In addition, there are 10 different levels of coffee strength and 3 levels of water temperature. As soon as I adapt a recipe to my favorite taste, I save the recipe under my own name.

Maintenance friendly The box contains all kinds of cleaning products so that I immediately install the water filter. If I replace the water filter in time, I don't have to descale the machine. That saves a big cleaning. In addition, the milk system cleans itself, thanks to the 'One Touch milk system cleaning'.

An excellent improvement on the previous model

This new Jura was an improvement in every respect after our old model that had lasted 17 years. Not yet defective, but with small problems, so it was time for a new one before it really broke down This new model has a touch screen display that shows the different types of drink depending on which spout the cup is placed under. Then, with 1 touch on the display, the coffee is made with significantly less noise than the previous model. If the maintenance remains the same as the previous one, we have no complaints
