This heart rate monitor is comfortable thanks to the pleasantly flexible materials. The transmitter clicks on and off easily (unplug it when not in use to save the battery!). This makes this heart rate monitor easy to maintain.

I use the Polar H7 in combination with the iPhone 5 and the Polar Beat app. I also tested the Runkeeper app. Both apps work perfectly:

... and within 2 seconds the heart rate is recognized and displayed.

The cool thing is that the H7 also still works with my old Polar F4 watch and with the fitness devices with heart rate monitor in addition to Bluetooth.

Polar Beat looks slick and automatically syncs with the Polar Personal Trainer website without you having to do anything. Because I've been using Polar's website for years, I chose the Polar Beat app. The app provides enough basic information but no more than that.
